This was one of 182 6BK3S built by Mack from 1930-1934. This bus with serial number 1134. It was delivered new on 9/21/1931 to Lebanon Auto Bus Co., in Lebanon, PA.

Lebanon Auto Bus company was based in Lebanon PA and provided 120 miles of intercity services to the following cities: Lebanon, Cornwall, Manheim, Lancaster, Marietta, Columbia, and Indiantown Gap.
The routes of the Lebanon Auto Bus Company continued as part of the larger Conestoga Transportation Company.
This is “a generation newer” than PBM’s 1924 Fageol Safety Coach #216 , and illustrates the significant change in technology. This coach body is “all metal construction” in contrast to the older wood and fabric construction of #216.

This bus was preserved “in a barn” as a Lebanon bus until it was purchased by John Hoschek and Albert Meier.
Hoschek and Meier sold this bus to Greyhound in 1972. Greyhound’s Maintenance Department “restored to original condition” including the Greyhound livery is still has.
