Crown #3 was delivered new to the Notamas Unified School District in Sacramento, California in 1968 and spent over 35 years transporting students for the school district.
After 2003, #3 was used occasionally as a spare bus. During this time the school district refurbished bus #3 inside and out and maintained it in like new condition.
Bus #3 was donated to the PBM in November 2014.
Who doesn’t love a classic school bus? This is a kid’s favorite!
As a volunteer orginization, we are always looking for as much help as we can get. If you've got skills and time, and want to get your hands dirty, consider becoming a member.
If you don't want to contribute "hands-on", financial donations for the restoration of bus #3 are also needed at this time to complete this remaining work.
