Edgewood Transit Lines:
Edgewood Transit Lines #3. This ex-San Diego ACF-Bril C-36 bus was found in the driveway of a house in Azusa-presumably next to the owner’s house.
Edgewood (a.k.a. Azusa Motor Bus Co.) operated between Azusa and La Puente via West Covina. They were reported to have two 25 passenger GMC buses a Ford Transit and an ex-San Diego ACF-Brill C-36 bus. In tour of Azusa in about 1958, two ETL buses were found sitting in a yard, apparently next to the owner’s residence. One bus was the ACF-Brill, (still in San Diego’s yellow and white paint) and the other was a Ford Transit. The Ford was probably from Santa Monica (one of the former Bay Cities units) as it was painted in SMMBL’s two-tone blue colors and design.
