Many print and internet sources state that all Fageols drivetrains used Hercules engines. “They are wrong,” says PBM Vice President, Tom Shafer.
It is true that 1930’s Twin Coaches used Hercules engines, but the post-war ones are stamped “Fageol”. These post-war Fageol engines were made in the Kent, OH factory Twin Coach plant.
East Bay Motor Coach Lines (Key System) acquired 11 model 15 “baby” Twins starting in January 1931.
The PBM acquired the #308 from the estate of the late Jerry Graham in 1996.
#308 was included in the filming of the movie “Oppenheimer”.
