Sometime after the Crown Highway Post Office (HPO)’s retirement and auction, Campbell, CA bus company owner Fred Wagener purchased it and converted it into a recreational vehicle. The Wageners added a motorized pull-down rear end that doubles as a ramp or a deck.
This Crown Highway Post Office was one of two delivered to Inter City Transit Co. in North Little Rock, AR in late 1966.
Fred Wagener’s son, Mark Wagener, donated this bus to the Pacific Bus Museum in October 2021.
