Bus 2738 was part of a fleet of 60 (#2701-2761) 30’ Gillig Phantoms delivered new to AC Transit in 1992. 2738 was operated in service until 2009 when it was set aside for possible donation and was acquired by the PBM in June 2011. The museum is pleased to have this lift equipped Gillig representing AC Transit in the museum’s collection.

Bus 2738 is operable and in good mechanical condition. The body and interior are in good overall condition. At the present time #2738 is stored in Fremont, CA.
